This property in the heart of Mainland Orkney was worth every penny it cost us! Positive: Very spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen, helpful information file, lovely sun room with access to garden and short drives to main towns, shops, amenities and historical sights. We felt the owners had thought of everything, such as boxes in garage for separating rubbish. We especially appreciated the welcome hamper! There is lots of storage, eg for jackets and we found a cupboard with plenty of spare toilet roll and towels. The whole house was warm, draught-free, and we had plenty of hot water at all times. Negative: Nothing, but maybe some more info about controlling the temperature would have been useful.
